Two-stage Pusher Centrifuge is a kind of perforated basket centrifuge, which works both continuously and effectively. The mixture to be separated is fed through the feed pipe to the distributor continuously and evenly distributed to the wall of first stage basket. Most of the mother-liquor which is filtered by centrifugal force from the feed departs through the sieves into the liquor-collecting casing where it will be discharged out of the machine. The first stage basket rotates and reciprocates The formed filter cake is pushed into the second stage basket as the first stage basket is rotating and reciprocating .The cake can stay in the centrifuge for a sufficient time and therefore the required Moisture content of the cake can be achieved under the powerful centrifugal force.
Afterwards, the cake is continuously discharged out of the basket. The effective washing can be carried out in the centrifuge in case of requirement of high purity of the solid product. The washing liquid and the mother-liquor can be discharged separately if necessary.
